Title: “Laying a Foundation for Congregational Youth Ministry”
Who: For any interested congregations
When: Thursday March 19 (late afternoon) until Friday March 20 (dinner time)
Where: St. John’s Lutheran Church; Grove City, Ohio
What: Join us for a 24 hour experience designed to lay a foundation for ministry to young people in congregations. During our time together we will take the next steps in determining your philosophies of ministry and the models and structure you wish to implement. There will be a focus on how to create a healthy culture within your congregation as we learn the basics and put into practice the concepts of intergenerational faith formation and outcome-based theory. We will talk about ministry from elementary aged children through High School aged students.
Cost:
· There is no cost for participating churches.
· Participants are however responsible for their food, lodging and travel.
· Rides to and from Port Columbus Airport and the local hotels can be provided.
