Iglesia Luterana San Pedro was seriously impacted by the hurricane. This vibrant congregation is bold in its proclamation of the Gospel – taking to the streets, finding ways for radio broadcasts to reach back into Cuba, and caring for so many that society has marginalized. Their bold witness for the sake of the cross & empty tomb is a blessing to all they come in contact with.
But life has become increasingly difficult when there is no insurance to cover a $40,000 price tag for repairs. A building is a tool to be used – and in this case, it’s the home where so many find refuge, peace, connections to the every day necessities of life, and most importantly – the Living Water of the Gospel.
