The NALC is committed to the renewal of all our congregations, working to develop and deliver resources that challenge and open the NALC to the work of the Holy Spirit in our ministry and mission. \u00a0During Lutheran Week in Denver, the Mission Festival is designed to inspire and serve as a resource to congregations. This includes specific \u201cbreak out\u201d sessions on a variety of topics. \u00a0Gwynne Gonnerman is excited to present the topic: “Spend Time With People The Way Jesus Did.”<\/b><\/p>\n

American culture is characterized by the word \u201cbusy.\u201d \u00a0There is never enough time, burn out seems inevitable, and the challenge of developing deep relationships is real. \u00a0What good things do we say \u201cno\u201d to so we can say \u201cyes\u201d to better things? In Life-To-Life Discipleship, this is a key element. \u00a0The real question is: \u201cwhat are you going to do about it?\u201d Jesus faced this challenge in even greater ways than we do. Relationships are key not just to ministry, but in life. \u00a0This breakout session will not just have presentation time, but also provide discussion and practical resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Gwynne Gonnerman \u00a0<\/b>delights in time spent with the precious people in her life. \u00a0\u00a0Gwynne became an advocate for herself and others and seeks safe, affirming community to release \u201cex\u201dperiences of abandonment and \u201cre\u201dlease a new life of abandon. \u00a0She is honored to partner with others to share Jesus\u2019 love, hope, and encouragement to needy children, women, families, and communities as a national presenter on a variety of topics, including grandparenting as a means of discipleship.<\/span><\/p>\n
