Panzo Family Update

Praise to God our Father, the Redeemer of our lives. I am taking this opportunity to inform you that Saturday evening, the city of Boma, was hit by a strong wind storm. The storm started at 7:00 PM and damaged over 1,000 houses in the town. Some of the houses were totally destroyed, and some are now without a roof, as is the case of the Lutheran Church’s sanctuary. The entire roof was destroyed, and on Sunday, we worshiped under sunshine, in the open air. Many families are scattered, and others passed away. At the church, besides the structure, no human life was affected.

Please pray for the people of Boma, as they are mourning how to rebuild their houses.  Also pray for the Director of the Confessional Lutheran Church, as they are finding ways to rebuild the roof of the sanctuary. They do not have other places where they may worship, in either the case of rain, or of sunshine.

May God bless you as you pray for the needy.
