Disaster Response Update – Puerto Rico

From our friends at Water Mission – “Thank you for your prayers, advocacy, and support for our Puerto Rico response. Our team has been in coordination meetings the past week with FEMA and DOH to determine where the neediest communities are and how Water Mission can best provide relief where it’s needed most. They’ve identified 230 rural communities in the interior of PR who have no power and water systems are down without safe water. It’s anticipated that these communities won’t be back online for 3-6 months. So far, 20 have been assessed and 5 were determined to be extremely urgent. Yesterday, we got the first system online and safe water is now flowing in the community of La Prieta in Comerio municipality! Mission accomplished after a long and tiring day. Many more to come! Prayers for our team down there and that their light would shine before men, that they may see their good works and glorify their Father in heaven.  – Matthew 5:16.”

  1. I pray that God will open up the minds and hearts of the Government officials, the Disaster Relief Organizations, the logistics/transportation companies and individuals to help bring water to those that need it in Puerto Rico.

I am born again in the name of Jesus and also founded a company called Drinkable Air, Inc. that makes pure drinking water from the humidity in the air. We understand that although it seems simple of getting water to places of need; it is everything but easy. Even though we preached education and new ways of dealing with Natural Disasters since the Tsunami hit American Samoa, it fell on deaf ears.

If there is anything we can do to support your mission please let us know.

    In His name,

    Jeff
